Mixed feelings about this place

ugly entrancelittle light

Honestly, I was a bit let down. The entrance to the building was TERRIBLE. It's old and quite ugly. My room was on the second floor, and it felt so dark with barely any natural light. The window faced some kind of mini courtyard or air shaft, so no light actually came in. For the price, I at least expected natural light.

the location was very convenient. i wanted a hotel near the gothic quarter. it was close to la rambla, but without the noise (a great advantage). the rooms were clean and quite large. i found the beds comfortable.

i noticed that the hotel doesn't have staff on-site all the time. leaving luggage after check-out wasn't possible. this was inconvenient as i had a late flight.

a coffee machine, kettle, and microwave are in the communal area on the floor. guests can freely use tea bags and coffee pods. the roof terrace provided a beautiful space for relaxation.

the hotel is near popular food spots and bars. the metro is within a reasonable walking distance. a convenience store is located just at the end of the road (i found it very practical).

poor insulationdim lighting

i was a bit let down by the noise level. the windows provided very little sound insulation. it sounded like the street was right in the room. also, the lighting was minimal. there were only a couple of dim lights, so the room felt dark.
